The Club is Open with club play sessions running for seniors on:

Monday 6:30-9

Wednesday 6:30-9

Saturday 2-5

No booking is required for club play sessions

When organising your own games, remember to use AceBook to book your courts.  On the AceBook page, choose Bangor Lawn Tennis Club.  Please use correct names of players for track and trace purposes.

For the past few years the club has hosted a Graded Senior Championship, with some or our members amongst the winners!  In our gallery you will find pictures of the 2024 winners.

Bangor Lawn Tennis Club is the premier tennis facility in North Down and is Clubmark NI Accredited. We have an affiliation with the Ulster Branch of Tennis Ireland.

Our coaching team, headed by Andy Strain, operated a very successful coaching programme at Helens Bay Tennis Club for a number of years before joining us on September 2024.

Every few months we host a members’ charity event. This year we supported Dementia NI, raising approximately £3300 in total from tennis tournaments, a BBQ, ballot and a tennis-a-thon (12 hours of non-stop tennis). Our most recent event, the tennis-a-thon, raised £1400!  Please go to Dementia NI for information on how this local charity is supporting people and their families living with dementia.
